Jason
R. Busbee is a certified residential real estate property appraiser
at Integrity Appraisal. Jason
is also the owner/operator of Blairsville Appraisal/Busbee Enterprise
Inc. and has been onboard with Integrity Appraisal from the beginning.
Jason began in the same office with Duane over 13 years ago where
he paid his dues assisting Duane and his father by collecting
sales data before MLS services were available in this market.
Jason also spent time with Chatuge Appraisals where he began
to perform
more in-depth analysis and appraisal reporting. From this venture,
Jason opened his own office in Blairsville and continued to serve
the surrounding counties performing residential reports for various
lenders and clients.
Jason,
however, felt that the proper training and mentorship was lacking
during this time as he grew in knowledge
and experience and began to encounter more difficult analyses.
Due to this belief and the lack of the specialized experiences
needed to perform analyses in the proper way, Jason was about
ready to
hang it up. He told his wife that he either had to find
a way to learn the proper skills that so many appraisers are
not
fortunate enough to learn, or he was going to find another
profession. For Jason, analyzing property with the proper methodology
and
expertise is more important than earning a paycheck. This is
when Duane, literally, walked in the door at the Blairsville
Appraisal office. Duane had the experience and knowledge that
Jason felt he was lacking. Over the next few months, Duane
and Jason began working together more and more and within
a short time Integrity Appraisal emerged. From
the beginning, the focus
has been to provide a quality analysis without compromising
on integrity. This belief is what has made Integrity Appraisal
what it is today. A phrase that Jason has used most of his
life
better
explains this philosophy: "Always do what’s right,
even if no one seems to be looking.”
Jason
is married to a beautiful and lovely wife and has two boys that
always
remind
him of what is truly important in life. Jason also loves
to play golf, or any sport for that matter, as well as
fishing with friends
when the opportunity presents itself. Jason focuses daily
on becoming the man his dog thinks he is and God is molding
him
to be. Jason feels that one of his most important goals
is to be better today than he was yesterday. This passage from
Jason’s
favorite self-help manual pretty much sums him up, “Trust
in the Lord with all your heart; and don't lean on your
own understanding. In all things acknowledge him, and he
shall
direct your way."
[Proverbs 3:5, 6]
