Cynthia “Cindy” Dilbeck
attended Copper Basin High School and part-way through her Junior
year, she
transferred and graduated from Fannin County High School. Shortly
thereafter, she moved to Gilmer County and lived there for 20
years while she raised her two wonderful sons. Cindy moved back
to
Fannin County almost a year ago and now feels at home. Cindy
enjoys learning new things and has several diplomas and certificates
including: Secretarial, Information Processing, Legal Secretary,
CNC Lathe, Home Inspection, and Paralegal. After working in the
legal field she desired more and she pursued a dream of owning
a floral business. She went back to Kennesaw State College and
received her Floral Design Certificate. She worked for a local
florist in Ellijay and eventually opened her own florist in Gilmer
County.
In total, she has over 15 years in the floral industry. Cindy
sold her florist and continued her search for her “inspiration,” and
she found it -- or you could say it found her: Real Estate
Appraisal. While
attending classes for her appraisal license, Cindy met Duane
Miller, (Chief Appraiser at Integrity); an event
she considers to be a blessing and is grateful for everyday.
She started at ground zero in the office as the Operations
Manager managing the everyday operations and doing research for
the other
appraisers. This was challenging at times, but
Cindy loves a challenge and will not back down from it until
the task
is
complete.
Cindy then transitioned into the field of appraising full-time.
She
is so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Integrity
Appraisal where she is surrounded by wonderful people with
loving souls. Cindy
enjoys meeting and serving new people. She adores
and thinks of these words often: "Life is too short for all
the drama and petty differences so laugh out loud, smile a
lot, love
truly and forgive quickly." She enjoys personal and spiritual
growth, hiking, spending time with her children, reading,
meeting new people, riding motorcycles, traveling and being
in the “NOW.” Cindy lives
the words of one of her mentors Oprah Winfrey
-- "Real
integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that nobody's
going to know whether you did it or not.” Cindy
is an LS graduate of PSI programs and she applies
the PSI
principles daily.
